Day 1 – Lisbon • Fátima • Porto

Depart from Lisbon towards Fátima, one of the world’s most important pilgrimage destinations. Enjoy time to visit the Sanctuary of Fátima, the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary, and the modern Basilica of the Holy Trinity.

After lunch, continue to Porto, a UNESCO World Heritage city, renowned for the Douro River, its historic bridges, and the world-famous Port Wine.

Day 2 – Discover Porto

Spend the day exploring Portugal’s second-largest city.

Visit the historic center, including São Bento Railway Station, famous for its magnificent azulejo tile panels, Aliados Avenue, Clérigos Tower, Lello Bookstore (exterior visit or optional interior visit), Porto Cathedral, and the Ribeira district along the Douro River.

Optional activities include a Six Bridges cruise on the Douro River or a visit to one of the traditional Port Wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia.

Day 3 – Porto • Guimarães • Braga • Barcelos • Valença

Depart for Guimarães, widely regarded as the birthplace of Portugal. Explore its medieval historic center, visit Guimarães Castle, and the Palace of the Dukes of Braganza.

Continue to Braga, known as the City of the Archbishops, where you’ll visit Braga Cathedral and the magnificent Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary.

Stop in Barcelos, famous for the legend of the Rooster of Barcelos and its charming historic center.

In the late afternoon, arrive in Valença, a fortified town on the Spanish border, renowned for its impressive 17th-century fortress.

Day 4 – Valença • Santiago de Compostela

Day 5 – Santiago de Compostela • Viana do Castelo

Visit the Sanctuary of Santa Luzia, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the city, the Atlantic Ocean, and the Lima River. Continue with a walk through the historic center, renowned for its Renaissance architecture and rich maritime heritage.

Continue to Costa Nova, well known for its iconic striped beach houses.

Travel to Nazaré, a traditional fishing village internationally famous for the giant waves of Praia do Norte and the scenic Sítio district.

Your final stop is Óbidos, a charming medieval walled town where you can wander through its cobbled streets and taste the traditional cherry liqueur, Ginjinha.

Arrival in Lisbon in the late afternoon.
